Carol Welsh has over 30 years experience as a speaker and is a popular guest on talk shows nationwide.
Carol captivates her audiences with her humor and commonsense techniques for improving relationships, whether at home or in
the workplace.

Carol has a Bachelors degree in Social Group Work and a Masters in Adult Education. For her Master's project, Carol did extensive research on personality-type styles, which led to the development of her Four Perceptions Self-appraisal and Personal Profile. It contains 10 Empowering Tendencies and 10 Limiting Tendencies for each of the styles. This became the focal point of her books and workshops. Her original edition: When You're Seeing Red, STOP! was published in 1999.

In 2004 Carol revised her book and added a new section, Defusing Your Hot Buttons. For this section, she developed "The Comfort Zone Thieves Self-Appraisal," which illustrates how and why your comfort zone is shrinking, and "The Hot Button Reaction Assessment," which shows you how to unmask the fears that fuel your reactions. She developed a simple process to turn reactions into desired outcomes.
